My name is Itay Mevorach and I am a Software Engineer from Portland, Oregon.
I joined Pipeworks in March 2026 as a Game Developer and I've been working on an exciting project that I can't share too much about.
I graduated from the University of Oregon school of Computer Science in 2025. While there, a few friends and I founded Leet Club, which grew to the largest student organization in the Computer Science department.
I created a duplicate file finder, duplff, after I found myself waiting on Auslogics to search for minutes. My file finder is still slow but I'm working on improvements.
In April 2025, I competed in BeaverHacks at Oregon State University. My friends and I built Dermo, the open source dermatology assistant, and won a first overall at the hackathon. Dermo ran a diffusion modal trained within the hackathon's time window and allowed users to get analysis on skin lesions. The project was abandoned but the github remains public.
In January 2025, I competed in QuackHacks at the University of Oregon. My friend and I built Beat the Books, a sports prediction and arbitrage engine, which won second overall. Both the frontend and engine are public on github.
May 2024, I joined Intel as an Intern and worked on Killer Performance Suite. I returned to Intel shortly after graduating to work within the same team where I built automations for security and regression testing.
